It is with great sadness the club announces the sudden passing of Jack Harrison on April 2nd. Jack joined the club in the 1950s with his younger brother Anthony (Tony) competing both with the Melbourne swimming team and the Melbourne waterpolo team. He played in many senior teams for nearly 40 years and was a member of the clubs board for over 30 years, most of these years as the club treasurer. Jack was a great supporter of the club and friend to many in the Victorian waterpolo community. He will sadly be missed by all that knew him.
Our thoughts are with Jack’s wife Patsy, their children Jane, Kate and Paul and their families.
A funeral will be offered at St Roch’s Catholic Church, Glen Iris. Friday 14th April 11am
