COME AND JOIN!
Melbourne Collegians fields teams of all ages and ability which caters for all potential
players. Our membership ranges from Senior Australian representatives down to 7-8
year old Tadpoles training for the first time.
TRAINING
Training venues are at Xavier College Kew, Wesley College Prahran and Victoria
University (VUT) Footscray. (Look under competitions for training details)
COMPETITION
Competitions are held throughout the year.
Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls and Under 12 Mixed play one competition in Term 4
through to the end of Term 1 at Hawthorn Aquatic Centre (HAC) on Sundays.
Seniors, Under 18 and Under 16 teams have two competitions. The VWPI Winter competition
is held from April to the end of June and the VWPI State competition is held from
August to December. Most games are played at MSAC with the women on Tuesday nights
and the Men split between Wednesday and Thursday nights.
REGISTRATION
To play Water Polo in Victoria with Melbourne Collegians Water Polo Club (MCWPC)
you must register with the Victorian Water Polo Association (VWPI) and also register
with MCWPC. The MCWPC registration form includes the VWPI fee which is forwarded
on by the Club after receipt of the completed form. The form must be filled out
and returned to the Club secretary. If you’re interested to join the Club just contact
us and we can work out what is suitable for your requirements.
